Loan Approval Criteria - Read our Guide Online

By partnering with a variety of lenders across the UK, we aim to provide competitive loans to individuals in every situation. If you want to borrow from £100 to £10000, we can offer you flexible repayment terms of 3 months to 3 years.

Will I be eligible for a CashFlex loan?

The quickest way to find out if you are likely to be approved for a loan is to enter your details into our eligibility checker tool. The tool will assess details such as your income and financial commitments, so that you have loan confidence before applying. The tool takes just 60 seconds and there is no impact on your credit file.

If you decide to proceed with your application, you will benefit from access to the best rates to suit your individual circumstances. There is no obligation to proceed with your application and the whole process is completely free of charge.

In general, if you are above the age of 18 and are paid a regular income of at least £750 every month, you will meet the basic criteria of our lenders. In addition, you must be a UK resident, hold a UK bank account and a valid debit card.

During the application process you will be asked to provide these details, so it can speed up the process if you have these to hand. All personal data which you send to use is treated as confidential and will be held securely in compliance with GDPR and our own privacy policy.

Will my credit score impact the chance of approval?

As a broker we are committed to finding loans for people with every type of credit history. All lenders which are approved by the FCA are required to conduct a credit check, although they consider a variety of factors in their decision. If you have a poor credit file but can demonstrate an ability to repay the loan with affordable payments, this can have a positive impact on your application.

How much money can I borrow?

Although our panel of lenders can lend up to £10000, the exact amount you will be eligible to borrow will depend on your individual circumstances. For example, factors such as your regular income and monthly outgoings will impact the affordability of loan repayments.

To improve affordability, it is possible to spread repayments over any period of time up to 36 months. However, if you are looking to borrow more than £1000, the minimum repayment period is 12 months. If you choose to spread your repayment periods over a longer period of time, the monthly payments will be lower, but you may end up paying more in interest over the loan period.

It is important that before you apply for a loan you have considered whether the repayments will be affordable. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, there are many organisations which can offer free and impartial advice, including Step Change and Money Helper.
