Are loans cheap and do they exist?

It depends on the person really – to some getting a loan for a £1,000 car could seem like a large investment, but to others getting finance for a car which is £60,000 would be a drop in the ocean.

We prefer to look at “Cheap Loans” as to whether they are affordable to you. Prior to taking out any loan we suggest that firstly you think about how much you can put aside for a loan repayment each month, secondly how much you would like to borrow, and then as a result of that you will have a rough idea how long your repayment period will be.

While it is an easy option to apply for a loan with Cashflex, please always consider if a loan is correct for you. If your financial commitments are stacking up and starting to become overwhelming, there is always help at hand from the following organisations: Step Change & The Money Advice Service.

Where can I get a cheap loan?

The top five UK high-street banks, such as Barclays or the Halifax tend to be the first stop when people are on the search for cheap loans. But many seem to stall here, as banks and building societies often only lend larger amounts and veer away from people with bad credit.

Other ports of call are usually supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Asda, after all, if they have the best deal on cornflakes surely that transfers to the APR and fees surrounding their loans?

But inevitably most people end up taking out their cheap loans online.

How to find the right cheap loan for you…

People generally find themselves in a financial blur when researching the best cheap loans online, not to mention all the factors when considering which cheap loans are right for you, and where to get cheap loans from.

Furthermore, do not borrow from unauthorised lenders – the guys that promise you immediate finance but without any credit checks. It is actually illegal in the UK to lend without any credit checks, they most definitely will not be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and if you do not keep up with the repayments you could get yourself into extremely deep water.
